About Us

Trailhead Therapy is an occupational therapy practice rooted in regulation, relationships, and meaningful participation in everyday life.

We support children and teens through individualized care that integrates sensory processing, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and functional skill development within a calm, supportive environment.

Our work is grounded in evidence-based, multisensory approaches designed to support the nervous system and the whole child.

Our Care Model

All services are provided directly by licensed occupational therapists at the master’s or doctoral level.

We intentionally prioritize individualized and thorough evaluation, treatment planning, continuity of care, and meaningful collaboration with families throughout the therapy process.

Our approach blends movement, play, sensory integration, and regulation support in a way that feels practical, supportive, and sustainable for everyday life.

Who We Support

We work with children and teens with and without formal diagnoses. While many of the individuals we support may experience challenges related to attention, regulation, learning, sensory processing, emotional well-being, or daily functioning, a diagnosis is never required to begin services.

At Trailhead, we focus on understanding the individual—not defining them by a label—and approach care with curiosity, collaboration, and respect.

Common areas of support may include:

  • Emotional regulation and resilience

  • Executive functioning, including focus, organization, and transitions

  • Sensory processing and sensory modulation

  • Fine motor and visual motor development, including handwriting

  • Coping strategies and cognitive flexibility

  • Daily routines and independence

  • Motor planning, coordination, and body awareness

  • Primitive reflex integration

  • Social participation and confidence

We also value collaborative care and are happy to coordinate with therapists, educators, physicians, and other providers when appropriate. We value ongoing collaboration with caregivers and believe meaningful progress happens when support carries beyond sessions into daily life. Supporting the whole child often means working together.
